Add Measurement Data

Overview

Once the Excel report is prepared, you can add measurement data from Easson2D to specified positions in the report.

The basic way to add data is:

Select report cell → Select measurement element → Select attribute → Select data type → Click "Add"

Select Measurement Element

The left side first displays the measurement elements in the current measurement program, for example:

  • Point
  • Line
  • Circle
  • Arc
  • Distance
  • Angle

After selecting a measurement element, the software automatically shows the attributes available for that element.

For example, after selecting Circle 1, you can further select corresponding attributes such as diameter, radius, and center coordinates.

Select Output Data Type

After selecting the element and attribute, you can also decide what specific data to output.

Supported types:

  • Measurement value
  • Nominal value
  • Upper tolerance
  • Lower tolerance
  • Error
  • Out of tolerance

For example:

Circle 1 → Diameter → Measurement value

Outputs the actual diameter measurement result of Circle 1 to the report.

If you select:

Circle 1 → Diameter → Nominal value

Then the nominal value of that diameter is output.

Specify Report Position

Click the cell where data should be inserted in the report editing area, then click Add.

Easson2D binds the currently selected measurement data to that cell and displays the current data as a preview.

When the program measures that element again later, the corresponding data will be updated to the specified report position.

Modify or Delete a Binding

If a cell's data binding is set incorrectly, you can select the cell and click Delete to clear the current binding, then re-add it.

If new measurement elements have been added to the measurement program, click Refresh to reload the latest measurement element list.

Example

Suppose you want to create the following report:

Measurement ItemNominal ValueUpper Tol.Lower Tol.Measured Value
Circle 1 Diameter10.0000.0100.010Auto-fill

You can select the diameter attribute of Circle 1 and sequentially add:

Nominal value, Upper tolerance, Lower tolerance, Measurement value

to the corresponding report cells.

Once bound, subsequent measurements will automatically update the report data in the same positions.
