Modify Height

Overview

Applicable Models

The modify height feature is only available for SP fully automatic series models.

Easson2D supports directly adjusting the running height of program steps after recording is complete, without re-recording the measurement program. Users can select the steps to adjust in the program list, right-click and choose Change Running Height, and the software provides multiple adjustment methods.

Adjustment Methods

Adjust by Offset

After selecting Adjust Running Height of All Steps or Adjust Running Height of Selected Steps, the software prompts for a height offset:

  • Enter a positive number: Running height increases
  • Enter a negative number: Running height decreases

This method uniformly adds or subtracts the specified height from the original running height.

For example, entering +2 mm raises the running height of the corresponding steps by 2 mm overall; entering -1 mm lowers it by 1 mm overall.

Set to Current Height

When selecting Set All Steps to Current Running Height or Set Selected Steps to Current Running Height, the software directly writes the device's current height into the corresponding program steps.

This method is suitable when the device has already been manually moved to the desired height and you want to quickly apply that height to the program.

Basic Workflow

  1. Move the device to the appropriate height as needed, or prepare the offset to be adjusted
  2. In the Program List, select the program steps to be modified
  3. Right-click and select Change Running Height
  4. Choose to adjust all steps or selected steps
  5. Choose to adjust by offset or set directly to the current running height
  6. Once completed, the new running height will be applied to the corresponding program steps

Use Cases

This feature is suitable for the following situations:

  • Workpiece height changes
  • Height changes after fixture replacement
  • Unified adjustment of measurement running height after program recording is complete
