Auto Recognition
Overview
The auto recognition feature quickly identifies workpiece edge contours in the Vision Area and automatically generates measurement elements. Simply place the mouse near a high-contrast edge, and the software will automatically trace along the edge to recognize the full element.
Steps
Step 1: Select an Auto Recognition Function
In the Measurement Bar, select an auto-recognition type measurement function, such as:
- Auto Circle: Automatically recognizes and generates a circle element
- Auto Line: Automatically recognizes and generates a line element
Step 2: Recognize and Generate the Element
- Place the mouse near an edge with high color contrast
- The software will automatically trace along the edge in both directions, recognizing and highlighting the full element
- Click the right mouse button to confirm and add the recognized element to the measurement list
Note
Auto recognition depends on the clarity and contrast of image edges. Recognition works best under good lighting with well-defined edges.
Notes
- Auto recognition is best suited for scenarios with clear edges and high contrast
- If the recognition result is inaccurate, try repositioning the mouse or switch to manual point picking
- When edges are blurry or interfering features are present, auto recognition may produce false results — always verify before confirming
