Aligned Annotation
Overview
The aligned annotation feature creates a dimension label along the line connecting two endpoints in the Vision Area or Geometry Area, displaying the actual distance between them. Endpoints can be element feature points or any clicked positions.
Steps
Step 1: Click the Function Button
In the Measurement Bar, click the Aligned Annotation button.
Step 2: Select Two Endpoints
In the Vision Area or Geometry Area, select the two endpoints for the aligned annotation. Endpoints can be:
- Feature points of elements, such as circle centers or line endpoints
- Any clicked position
Step 3: Place the Label
Drag the label to a suitable position and left-click to create it.
Notes
- The aligned annotation displays the actual distance between two endpoints, with the direction aligned to the line connecting them
- The label can be dragged to a suitable position to avoid obscuring measurement graphics
- The created label can be included in subsequent report output
