Array Program
Overview
Applicable Models
The array program feature is only available for SP fully automatic series models.
The program step array feature in Easson2D allows you to batch-copy one or more recorded program steps to multiple positions according to specified rules, making it ideal for workpieces with repetitive structures or multiple identical measurement areas.
Users only need to complete a measurement program for one position, then use the array feature to quickly generate measurement steps for other positions without re-recording each one individually.
Rectangular Array
Rectangular arrays are suitable for multiple identical workpieces or repetitive features arranged in a regular pattern.
Users can configure:
- Number of rows
- Number of columns
- Row offset distance
- Column offset distance
- The range of program steps to be arrayed
For example, if a workpiece has measurement areas arranged in a 4 × 4 grid, you only need to record the measurement steps for one position and then use the rectangular array to quickly generate the program for the remaining positions.
Array Reference
The array can use different coordinate references for calculation, including:
- Machine Coordinates: Based on the device's machine coordinate system
- Current Coordinates: Based on the current stage position
- Established Program Coordinates: Based on an existing coordinate system in the program
By selecting the appropriate coordinate reference, you can conveniently apply the array to different workpiece coordinates or measurement areas.
Basic Workflow
- Complete a measurement for one position and generate program steps
- Open the Array feature
- Specify the range of program steps to be arrayed
- Set the array count and spacing
- Select the desired coordinate reference
- After confirming, Easson2D automatically generates the corresponding program steps
Program step arraying significantly reduces the time required to create programs for repetitive workpieces or features, making complex measurement program creation faster.
