Toolbar Display
Easson2D supports customizing the buttons shown in the toolbar and their arrangement according to different operating habits.
You can hide function buttons that are rarely used and keep only the tools you use often, and you can also adjust the display style of the toolbar to make the interface cleaner.
Opening the Toolbar Settings
Click:
View → Toolbar Settings
to open the toolbar settings window.
Here you can adjust the display state and arrangement of the toolbar buttons.
Showing or Hiding Tool Buttons
In the toolbar settings, you can choose which buttons are displayed.
For example:
- Common measurement buttons
- Construction functions
- Annotation functions
- Output functions
- Auxiliary functions
- Other tool buttons
If some functions are rarely used, you can hide the corresponding buttons to reduce the space occupied by the toolbar.
You can turn them back on when needed.
Streamlining the Toolbar According to Work Needs
Different users may use different functions frequently.
For example, when mainly performing basic vision measurement, you can keep only the commonly used:
- Point
- Line
- Circle
- Arc
- Distance
- Angle
- Program run functions, etc.
and temporarily hide the advanced tools that are not often used.
This reduces the number of buttons and makes the frequently used functions easier to find.
Toolbar Arrangement
Easson2D also supports adjusting the arrangement and display style of the tool buttons.
You can choose a different toolbar arrangement according to the screen size and operating habits.
For example, on a lower-resolution monitor, you can use a more compact arrangement; on a large monitor, you can display more function buttons.
Icon Display Style
The toolbar can use different icon display styles.
You can choose an icon appearance that is easier to recognize according to your personal habits.
Changing the icon style only affects the toolbar display and does not affect the function of the buttons themselves.
Multicolor Toolbar
Easson2D also supports a multicolor toolbar display mode.
When enabled, different function groups can be distinguished by different colors, making the function categories in the toolbar more obvious.
The colors of different button groups can also be adjusted.
For example, you can make:
- Measurement functions
- Construction functions
- Coordinate functions
- Annotation functions
use different color areas for distinction.
For interfaces with many tool buttons, this display mode helps you find the needed function faster.
Saving the Toolbar Settings
The button display state and related display styles of the toolbar are saved by the software.
After completing the settings, the previous toolbar configuration is kept the next time Easson2D is opened.
Therefore, you usually only need to configure it once according to your working habits.
Usage Recommendations
If there are many toolbar buttons, it is recommended to keep the functions with the highest daily usage frequency first.
For example:
- General measurement operators: hide less frequently used advanced functions to keep the toolbar simpler.
- Users who frequently use various measurement and construction functions: keep more buttons and improve recognition through the multicolor style or button grouping.
Through the toolbar settings, the Easson2D operating interface can better suit the actual working methods of different users.
