Data Recording
Overview
Easson2D's "Data Recording" feature is used to quickly create measurement record tables in custom reports and consecutively record current coordinate or measurement element data.
Compared to binding report cells one by one, the data recording feature is more suitable for temporary recording, repeated measurements, and continuous collection of multiple measurement results.
Quickly Create a Record Table
First, select the starting cell in the report, then configure:
- Number of records
- Nominal value
- Upper tolerance
- Lower tolerance
After clicking Add, Easson2D automatically creates a record table containing:
- Number
- Nominal value
- Upper tolerance
- Lower tolerance
- Error
- Measurement value
The table can be arranged horizontally or vertically based on the current settings.
Record X, Y, Z Coordinates
Once the record table is created, you can directly record the device's current:
- X coordinate
- Y coordinate
- Z coordinate
After clicking the corresponding button, the current coordinate is written to the selected measurement value position and automatically moves to the next record.
Record Measurement Elements
In addition to X, Y, Z coordinates, you can also select a measurement element, attribute, and data type, then click Record Element.
For example:
Circle 1 → Diameter → Measurement value
This writes the current diameter result of Circle 1 into the record table.
After recording, the cursor automatically moves to the next position, making it convenient to consecutively record multiple data items.
Auto Calculate Error and Judgment
When measurement values are written to the record table, if nominal values and upper/lower tolerances have been set, Easson2D can automatically:
- Calculate error
- Judge pass or fail
- Display pass or fail colors based on settings
Therefore, users only need to consecutively record measurement values, and error and judgment results will be generated simultaneously.
Continuous Recording
The data recording feature also supports:
- Horizontal or vertical recording
- Auto-moving to the next cell
- Auto-wrapping to a new row or column after a specified number of items
Suitable for consecutively recording multiple workpieces or multiple repeated measurement results.
Typical Applications
The data recording feature is suitable for:
- Quickly creating temporary measurement records
- Consecutively recording X, Y, Z coordinates
- Consecutively recording data for a specific measurement item
- Multiple repeated measurement recording
- Quickly comparing nominal values, tolerances, and errors
