Pass and Fail Colors

Overview

Easson2D custom reports support automatically changing the background color of report cells based on tolerance judgment of measurement results.

Color differentiation allows users to quickly identify which measurement results pass and which exceed the tolerance range when viewing the report.

Configure Display Colors

Users can separately enable:

  • Pass color
  • Fail color

And set different display colors for each status.

For example:

  • Pass: Green
  • Fail: Red

Colors can be adjusted according to the company's internal report specifications.

Automatic Judgment

When the output data includes measurement values, errors, or other tolerance-related data, Easson2D judges based on the current measurement results and the configured tolerances.

If the measurement result is within the allowable range, the corresponding cell displays the pass color.

If the measurement result exceeds the allowable range, it displays the fail color.

Practical Effect

For example, in a report that continuously records diameter measurement values of multiple workpieces:

  • Passing data automatically displays a green background
  • Failing data automatically displays a red background

Users can quickly identify abnormal measurement results by color without having to check each value against its tolerance individually.

Use Cases

This feature is especially suitable for:

  • Batch workpiece inspection
  • Continuous measurement recording
  • First article inspection reports
  • Process quality monitoring
  • Inspection reports requiring quick identification of NG data

The color judgment is saved along with the measurement data into the Excel report, so the pass/fail status remains directly visible when the report is opened.
