Interface Display

Easson2D supports customizing the display state and interface layout of the various functional windows according to different working methods.

You can decide which windows to display and which to hide temporarily, and save a workspace that suits you.

Opening the Window Layout Settings

Click:

Options → Window Layout

to enter the window layout settings.

Here you can adjust the display state and position of the various functional areas in Easson2D.

Showing or Hiding Functional Windows

Depending on the current work requirements, you can choose to show or hide different functional windows, such as:

  • Drawing area
  • Element list
  • Image area
  • Tool area
  • Data area
  • Magnifier area
  • Overview window
  • Motor control
  • Program window
  • DXF program
  • Auxiliary tools
  • Auxiliary image
  • Custom report
  • Database, etc.

Depending on the machine configuration and software version, the available window items may differ.

For example, if you are mainly performing manual vision measurement, you can hide windows such as the program or database that are not needed for now, giving the main measurement area more display space.

Adjusting the Window Layout

After entering the layout editing state, you can rearrange the windows according to your usage habits.

For example, you can:

  • Adjust the size of the image area
  • Adjust the position of the data area
  • Change the space occupied by the element list
  • Show or hide auxiliary windows

Through reasonable adjustment, the frequently used areas can be made more prominent.

Saving the Current Layout

After finishing the interface adjustment, you can save the current window layout.

The next time you use Easson2D, you can continue using the interface arrangement you have set up, without having to adjust it again each time.

If different operators or different measurement tasks need different window combinations, you can also establish separate layouts that suit each one.

Restoring the Default Layout

If the window positions are inconvenient after adjustment, or if some windows cannot be found, you can use:

Restore Default

to restore the interface to the preset layout state of the software.

When window positions become abnormal, restoring the default layout is also a quick way to handle the problem.

Importing and Exporting Layouts

The window layout in Easson2D also supports:

  • Export
  • Import

You can save an adjusted interface layout and reuse it in other machines or software environments.

This is convenient when multiple machines need to keep the same operating interface.

Preset Interface Styles

The software also provides different preset layout styles, such as:

  • Easson style
  • Zonson style
  • Custom layout

You can first choose a preset layout close to your habits, and then further adjust the positions and display states of the windows.

Usage Recommendations

There is no fixed best way to arrange the interface; you can adjust it according to the actual measurement task.

For example:

  • General vision measurement: give priority to keeping the image area + element list + data area + measurement tools.
  • Program-based automatic measurement: add the program window + motor control.
  • Need a larger image viewing area: temporarily hide less frequently used windows to expand the image area.

Through the window layout settings, the Easson2D operating interface can better suit different machines, measurement tasks, and operator habits.
