Angle Bisector

Overview

The angle bisector feature calculates the bisector of the angle formed by two lines and generates a line element at their intersection. The two lines must not be parallel.

Steps

Step 1: Click the Function Button

In the Measurement Bar, click the Angle Bisector button.

Step 2: Select Two Lines

In the Vision Area or Geometry Area, select two line elements in sequence. The selected lines can be previously measured line elements or lines generated through other constructions.

Step 3: Generate the Angle Bisector

After selection, the software will automatically generate the angle bisector as a line element originating from the intersection point of the two lines.

Notes

  • The two lines must be non-parallel; otherwise, an angle bisector cannot be calculated
  • Selection order is flexible — it does not matter which line you select first
  • The generated angle bisector can be used in subsequent element construction, angle calculations, and tolerance analysis
