Thread Inscribed Circle
The "Thread Inscribed Circle" function in Easson2D automatically constructs a circle corresponding to two lines based on two existing lines and a specified circle diameter.
This function is suitable when both side lines have already been measured and the target circle diameter is known, without the need to manually measure the circumference.
Opening Thread Inscribed Circle
Click:
Combined Measurement → Thread Inscribed Circle
to enter the construction function.
Selecting Two Lines
After entering the function, select the two lines to be used for constructing the circle, one after the other.
These two lines determine the relationship between the circle and the geometric boundaries on both sides.
It is recommended to first confirm that the two lines have been measured or constructed correctly.
Entering the Circle Diameter
After selecting the two lines, the software automatically opens the diameter input window.
In:
Diameter (mm)
enter the circle diameter to be constructed.
For example:
5.000 mm
After confirming, Easson2D automatically calculates and generates the corresponding circle element based on:
First line + second line + the entered circle diameter
Basic Workflow
The entire operation can be summarized as:
Combined Measurement → Thread Inscribed Circle → Select the first line → Select the second line → Enter the circle diameter (mm) → Confirm → A circle element is generated automatically
Usage Example
For example, if two side lines have been measured on the workpiece and you want to construct a circle with a diameter of:
6.000 mm
Steps:
- Click "Combined Measurement".
- Select "Thread Inscribed Circle".
- Select the two lines one after the other.
- In the window that appears, enter: 6.000 mm.
- Confirm.
- The software automatically generates the corresponding circle element.
Usage Recommendations
Before using this function, make sure that:
- The positions of the two lines are measured correctly
- The entered circle diameter matches the actual design requirement
- The correct two lines involved in constructing this circle are selected
The generated circle is a constructed element, and its result is determined jointly by the two selected lines and the entered diameter.
This can be simply understood as:
Select two lines, enter the specified diameter, and Easson2D automatically constructs the corresponding circle.
