Trim Line
Overview
The trim line feature trims one line using another line as a reference. Select the reference line, then select the line to be trimmed, and the software will automatically perform the trim operation.
Important
Both the reference line and the line to be trimmed must be line elements.
Steps
Step 1: Click the Function Button
In the Measurement Bar, click the Trim Line button.
Step 2: Select the Reference Line
In the Vision Area or Geometry Area, select a line element as the reference line.
Step 3: Select the Line to Trim
Select the other line element to be trimmed, then left-click — the software will automatically complete the trim operation.
Notes
- Both the reference line and the line to be trimmed must be line elements; other element types are not supported
- Select the reference line first, then the line to be trimmed
- The trimmed result can be used in subsequent element construction and tolerance analysis
