Two-Point Line

Overview

The two-point line feature quickly creates a line element from two endpoints. The endpoints can be previously measured point elements or feature points of other elements, such as circle centers.

Steps

Step 1: Click the Function Button

In the Measurement Bar, click the Two-Point Line button.

Step 2: Select Two Endpoints

Click two endpoints in sequence in the Vision Area or Geometry Area. Endpoints can be:

  • Previously measured point elements
  • Feature points of other elements, such as the center of a circle element

Step 3: Generate the Line

After clicking the two endpoints, the software will automatically generate a line element connecting them and display the line length.

Notes

  • The two endpoints can be selected from different elements — for example, one endpoint can be a circle center and the other a manually measured point
  • The generated line element can be used in subsequent distance calculations, angle calculations, and tolerance analysis
  • Pay attention to the cursor snap position when picking points to ensure you select the correct endpoint or feature point
