Modify Brightness

Overview

Applicable Models

The modify brightness feature is only available for SP fully automatic series models.

Easson2D supports directly modifying the light source brightness in recorded program steps without re-recording the entire measurement workflow. When the lighting effect of a particular program step needs adjustment, users can first adjust the device light source to the desired brightness and then write the current light source values into the specified program step.

How to Use

  1. Manually adjust the device light source to achieve the desired brightness
  2. In the Program List, select the program step that needs modification
  3. Right-click the program step to be adjusted
  4. Select Set to Current Light Source Value
  5. The current device light source brightness will be saved to the selected program step

When the program later runs those steps, it will automatically use the new brightness.

Use Cases

This feature is suitable for individually optimizing the lighting effects of certain measurement steps after program recording, for example:

  • Brightness is too high or too low in certain areas
  • Different measurement features require different lighting conditions
  • After changing workpieces or adjusting the optical system, the brightness of some steps needs to be re-optimized

By directly modifying specified program steps, light source parameters can be adjusted quickly without rebuilding the measurement program.
