Run Program
Overview
Applicable Models
The run program feature is only available for SP fully automatic series models.
Easson2D's Run Program is used to execute a recorded measurement program. Before starting, users can configure options such as run count, Excel data output, and exception handling based on actual inspection requirements. After completing the settings, click OK and the software will automatically execute measurements in the order of the program list steps.
Run Settings
Before running the program, you can configure:
- Repeat Count: Set the number of times the entire measurement program will be executed consecutively
- Pause on Exception: Pause the program when an exception occurs during detection, allowing users to inspect
- Single Step: Run only one program step at a time, suitable for program debugging
- Position Only, No Measurement: Move to the positions defined in the program without performing actual measurements
- Auto-Run Next Step When No Object Detected: Automatically continue to the next step when the current step detects no target
- Auto-Save Current Page Settings to Config File: Save the current run parameters for future use
- Set as Default: Save the current settings as the default run configuration
Auto Export to Excel
When running a program, you can enable Auto Export to Excel File to automatically record measurement results to a specified Excel file during program execution. Users can create a new or select an existing Excel file and specify the worksheet to write to.
Output Format
Easson2D provides multiple Excel output methods, including:
- Custom format
- Default format
- Default format - CPK
- Default format - Array
- Default format - Array - CPK
- Default format - Customized
Users can also configure report headers to meet different inspection report requirements.
Output Data Selection
You can choose between the following two output scopes:
- Output Selected Data: Only output user-specified measurement data. Before using this method, you need to select the corresponding items in the software's Data Area, right-click and choose Report > Select to designate them as report output items
- Output Data with Tolerances: Only output measurement items that have tolerances assigned
If you only want to output certain critical dimensions, it is recommended to first specify the items to output in the Data Area via Report > Select, then select Output Selected Data in the Run Program window.
Data Arrangement
Measurement results can be arranged:
- Left to Right
- Top to Bottom
You can also configure automatic row or column wrap rules to arrange data from consecutive multiple measurements into the Excel sheet in a specified manner.
Output Contents
Based on report requirements, you can output:
- Measurement data
- Measurement error
- Pass/fail result
- Measurement time
- Out-of-tolerance status
- Item name
- Nominal value
- Upper tolerance
- Lower tolerance
The pass/fail display can be customized, for example using OK / NG to indicate pass and fail.
Basic Workflow
- Open Run Program
- Set the program repeat count and other run options
- If outputting specified data, first right-click in the Data Area and select Report > Select to designate the items to output
- Enable Auto Export to Excel File
- Select the Excel file, worksheet, and output format
- Configure the output data scope, arrangement direction, and other output contents
