Select Output Data
Overview
Easson2D provides multiple methods for selecting measurement data to be output to reports. Users can choose to select entire measurement elements, individual measurement attributes, or batch-select specific attributes of elements of the same type based on actual needs.
1. Select Entire Measurement Element
Right-click a measurement element in the data list and use the Report menu to configure the output status:
- Report > Select: Set the current element as output data
- Report > Deselect: Remove the current element from output
- Report > Select All: Set all elements in the data list as output data
- Report > Deselect All: Remove all elements in the data list from output
When an element is set to output status, the element name's background color turns yellow, allowing users to quickly confirm which items have been added to the report.
2. Select Individual Measurement Attribute
If you do not need to output the entire element but only a specific measurement attribute, you can also select it individually.
For example, to output only the diameter of Circle 1:
- In the Data Area grid, find the diameter value of Circle 1
- Right-click the measurement value
- Select Report > Select
After the setting is complete, the attribute's background turns yellow and it serves as independent report output data. This method is suitable for cases where only a specific measurement result of a particular element needs to be output.
3. Batch Select Specific Attributes of Same-Type Elements
If you need to output the same attribute for all elements of the same type, you can use the batch setting feature.
For example, to output the diameters of all circles in the data list:
- Right-click on the diameter measurement value of any circle
- Select Report > Batch Set Selection
- Easson2D uniformly sets the diameter attributes of all circles in the data list to output status
The selected attributes will display a yellow background. This method is particularly suitable when the program contains many measurement elements of the same type, allowing you to complete report selection for the same attribute in one operation without setting them one by one.
Output Status Indication
Whether you select an entire element or an individual attribute, as long as the item is in the report output status, its corresponding position will be indicated by a yellow background. Users can quickly check the currently selected output data in the report by color.
