Manual Point Picking

Overview

Manual point picking is one of the most basic measurement methods in Easson2D. You click directly in the Vision Area or Geometry Area with the mouse, and right-click to confirm, generating the corresponding measurement element.

Steps

Step 1: Select a Measurement Element

In the Measurement Bar, select the type of element you want to measure. The following example uses Manual Line.

Step 2: Pick Points and Generate the Element

  1. In the Vision Area or Geometry Area, use the left mouse button to click the points needed for the element
  2. After picking all required points, click the right mouse button to confirm
  3. The software will automatically generate the corresponding measurement element

Notes

  • Pick points as precisely as possible; avoid picking near blurry edges to prevent measurement deviation
  • Different element types require different numbers of points — for example, a line requires 2 points and a circle requires 3 points
  • The order in which points are picked affects the direction and result of the element
